Corrigan Moving Systems Donates Services to Lighthouse of Oakland County

Corrigan employees deliver holiday trees and wreaths throughout Oakland County

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., November 14, 2012 – Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Corrigan Moving Systems, a full-service relocation company dedicated to elevating the moving experience, announced today its Auburn Hills facility recently partnered with Lighthouse of Oakland County to support their annual Lighting the Way for the Holidays fundraising event. Corrigan General Manager Marc Elliot made the announcement.

This year’s Lighting the Way for the Holidays event was held at the Bank of America in Troy on Nov. 11. At this event, attendees enjoyed a fun evening where they could view beautiful custom-decorated Christmas trees on display. These trees were then auctioned off to the attendees, with the proceeds from the event supporting Lighthouse of Oakland County, a local charity organization providing services to low-income families in the area. Following the event, Corrigan organized a moving crew to transport the purchased Christmas trees and wreaths to the lucky families’ homes free of charge.

“Corrigan is dedicated to moving the lives of our customers and community by any means possible,” said Elliot. “We are proud to provide our services for such an inspiring cause and help spread the holiday cheer in the local area.”

The event was a big success, providing a fun evening of entertainment to all, while raising funds for a great cause.
