"Dizzy" DOZER: A Special Dog Looking for a Special Caregiver

Adorable, adoptable Dozer is a special 1-year-old shepherd/chow mix (how cute am I?!) that is currently in foster care in Northwest Detroit after being found as a stray.

Dozer weighs 60 lbs but could use a few more, as he was pretty skinny when his foster family took him in. He's neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

More about Dozer: I'm a good boy and very playful but still in need of some guidance to learn not to jump up or pull on my leash sometimes. And I've been known to scale a 4-foot fence. But I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE  other dogs. And, given the chance, I'm ready to LOVE you, too!!

Some folks might think I'm a little "dizzy" because occasionally my eyes move a little funny. But my vision is good; I can even chase bumblebees around the yard! And sometimes when I'm tired, I might fall asleep in my food plate or while at play.

That's because I might have a mild form of canine narcolepsy. But, no worries. The episodes doesn't last long, and I'm really OK and will hop up again as if nothing has happened. I'm a healthy dog with a strong heart that I'm ready to give to YOU!

If you're a special person who's looking to open your heart and home to a special dog, please contact Joni at (313) 319-4350 or fivedogsrunning@gmail.com.
