Farmington High Grad Launches Paranormal Experiences Book
Exie Susanne (Bruce) Smith, a 1977 Farmington High graduate, celebrates the launch of her first book, Welcome To My Para ”Normal” Life, at Marshbank Park’s-Lodge, 2805 Hiller Road, West Bloomfield, on Oct. 7, 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Smith, who now lives in Commerce with her husband, son and schnauzer, grew up in Farmington. She attended Ten Mile Elementary, Farmington Jr. High and Farmington High School, graduating in 1977. She said her paranormal experiences started while living in Farmington, in her childhood home.
Smith thinks that spirits in the house are of the land, meaning they didn't originate from inside the house, but probably someone who lived and died on the property before the house she lived in was built. Native Americans and early settlers lived on the land; in fact, Smith thinks the spirit she saw in the house was that of settler's small child, because of the clothing the small spirit was wearing at the time it appeared for her: short pants or breeches, a muslin looking shirt and little hat.
To attend the book launch event, RSVP to exieparanormal@gmail.com by Oct. 3. The book is available at amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and authorhouse.com.
