Farmington Hills Police Take-Back Nets 44 Pounds of Drugs
The Farmington Hills Police Department's third Controlled Substance Take-Back Initiative on Oct. 29 netted 44 pounds of prescription drugs, for a total of 395 pounds over all three events.
This collaborative effort with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) safely and anonymously removed potentially dangerous controlled substances (any medication requiring a prescription) from local homes. Disposal of the materials will be accomplished in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
