The Farmington Public Safety Department announces that Commander Ted Warthman graduated from the Eastern Michigan University, School of Police Staff and Command, on Friday, November 5, 2010.  The commander attended ten weeks of executive police management training.   

Commander Warthman is a thirteen year veteran of the Farmington Public Safety Department.  He has earned eight citations and awards.  He has served as a reserve officer, field training officer, sergeant, fire marshal and state certified fire inspector.  The commander is a criminal justice graduate from Eastern Michigan University.  Warthman was promoted to commander in 2007. 

Farmington Public Safety Director Robert Schulz and Commander Frank Demers are also "Staff and Command" graduates.
