JoAnn Wang, D.O., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. Fellowship trained in geriatric medicine and board-certified in internal medicine, this physician sees patients at Millennium Medical Group West P.C., 6149 N. Wayne Rd., Westland, (734) 728-4141.

Dr. Wang was a recipient of the Clinical Excellence Scholarship and received her medical education from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa. She completed her three-year residency in internal medicine at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. Then, Dr. Wang furthered her clinical training by completing a one-year fellowship in geriatric medicine at the hospital.

Dr. Wang is a member of several professional societies, including the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American Geriatric Association, and the American Medical Directors Association.

Dr. Wang’s native language is English, and she also speaks conversation Mandarin Chinese.
