Mrs. Vercellotti was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1981, and her son, Gregory, in 2008.
Her family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 3 p.m.-8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, 11 a.m. at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd., with Rev. Fr. Jack Baker presiding. Burial will be at Detroit Memorial Park West, Detroit. Arrangements are by Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home.
Memorial tributes are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
