Begin the New Year by taking advantage of the affordable, enjoyable cultural arts classes offered in Farmington Hills. Art, music and performance classes are taught at various locations, including the historic Stables Studio in Heritage Park.
Activities are open to both residents and non-residents. Registration may be done in person at the Costick Center at 28600 W Eleven Mile Rd. from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or online at recreg.fhgov.com.
Classes include Private Music Lessons, ages 8 and up; Group Music Lessons, Guitar & Piano; Watercolor Painting, ages 17 and up; Exploring Ceramics, ages 12 and up; Colored Pencil Workshop, ages 17 and up; Oil Painting, ages 17 and up; Basic Drawing, ages 17 and up; Winter Walking Photography, ages 12 and up; Digital Photography and Digital Photography: Beyond Basics, ages 18 and up; Step By Step Drawing, ages 5-7 & 8-12; and Pottery for Kids, ages 5-7 and 8-12.
