Meet 'Eleanor Roosevelt' at the Governor Warner Mansion Aug. 26
Sandy Burchart of Victorian Lace Elegance and Governor Warner Mansion volunteers will host a special tea and talk on the porch of the Mansion on Aug. 26.
This event will feature homemade scones and other sweets, plus delicious teas donated by Sandy’s specialty store, which is filled with teas, cards, angels, lace and Victorian items, and is located in the Village Mall in Farmington.
Along with the teas and sweets, visitors will enjoy a portrayal of Eleanor Roosevelt presented by local resident, Joan McGlincy.
Your special “going to tea” outfits and hats will be welcomed at this event. Space is limited, but tickets may be purchased for $10 in advance at the Farmington City Hall or at Victorian Lace Elegance. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Select vendor booths will be open on the Mansion grounds before and after the tea.
