Middle and high school parents and students are invited to attend "What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You: An Update on Synthetic Drugs”, sponsored by the Farmington Area PTA Council and Farmington Public Schools on Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. in the North Farmington High School auditorium.
Parents will hear presentations by local law enforcement, physicians and experts on the following topics:
- Drug Issues in Our Community
- What Doctors See in the ER
- Counseling
Several organizations will host tables to provide parents and students with information on local services. Light refreshments will be served.
The event, co-hosted by North Farmington High School PTSA, Dunckel Middle School PTSA, Farmington High School PTSA and Harrison High School PTSA, is open to the public. This Forum is one of a series of parent and student forums sponsored by local PTA and PTSA units in the Farmington Public Schools’ district. Topics are chosen by parents and students.
