Recycle Your Recycling Bins at Farmington Area Schools
This July, residents and businesses in Farmington and Farmington Hills will receive new, larger recycling bins from the Resource Recovery and Recycling Authority of Southwest Oakland County (RRRASOC), and residents are welcome to keep or recycle their old bins.
To help expand building recycling efforts, residents are encouraged to donate their old bins to Farmington Public Schools. This will help establish uniformity among all schools because the green receptacles are easily identified as recycle bins.
Bins can be dropped off at the FPS Facilities Maintenance Building, 29350 10 Mile Rd. (northwest corner at Middlebelt) or the City of Farmington Hills Public Works Building, 27245 Halsted Rd. (just south of 12 Mile on the northwest corner) or with Peace, Love & Planet at the Farmington Farmers and Artisans Market on July 28. Clean bins can also be dropped off at your child's school.
Bins should be donated by August in order to clean and organize distribution before the school year.
