Script to Stage Gives Kids Theater Experience
Script to Stage is designed for children in Kindergarten to 2nd grade, who want to have fun while learning all about acting including auditioning, learning lines, singing, and dancing.
This hands-on program helps build confidence and teaches children the enjoyment of being on stage. This session’s theme is finding that “little bit of magic” that exists in everyone.
A performance for parents and their guests is held at the end of the program at the Farmington Players Barn Theatre.
Script to Stage classes take place at the Jon Grant Community Center from May 3-May 31, 2011 on Tuesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. There are no classes on May 8 and 29; dress rehearsals are June 1 and 2, with the performances on June 3 and 4. The cost is $115 for residents and $125 for non-residents.
