Enjoy a free movie at the Farmington Civic Theater Dec. 1, with a donation of new books, new toys, or canned and boxed foods for the 2012 Farmington Area Goodfellows Holiday Assistance Program.  

Movies include The Polar Express at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and Shrek the Halls at 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m.

Half of concession sales during the movies will be donated to the Goodfellows as well.

Last year, the Goodfellows collected more than 70 toys and 200 cans of food, along with concession sales and cash donations amounting to more than $1,600.
