FARMINGTON HILLS – Amy L. Wess has been named vice president of operations at Home Renewal Systems (HRS), a Farmington Hills-based housing and real estate company.

In her new position, Wess oversees HRS’ compliance process, including contracts, property acquisitions, pro formas and budget reconciliations. 

She previously served as HRS’ program facilitator/project accountant.

Before coming to Home Renewal Systems, Wess spent six years at Crosswinds Communities as controller for the national division of construction/land development. Prior to that, she was a mortgage auditor for a division of Countrywide Home Loans and a billing auditor for a large Michigan-based healthcare provider, gaining 10 years of experience in resource allocation and account management.

Home Renewal Systems is a program developed to administer the federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program in southeast Michigan. It aims to provide housing opportunities to individuals and families by renovating, selling and supporting quality real estate.
