Normally, we do a countdown of activities to help you plan your weekend adventures, but with holiday coming up, we thought we'd focus on everything New Year's this week.
So far this week we have told you about:

Today we are going to look at what five local bars are offering on New Year's Eve:
- Grand Tavern - Enjoy dinner and drink specials all night, with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
- Mulligan's Pub & Grub - This casual hangout spot is offering up free pizza and party favors all night.
- Page's - This favorite downtown spot will be running prime rib and dinner specials all night.
- Scores Sports Bar & Grill - The bar will be open with their usual arcade games, darts, golf, club keno and plenty of television sets to watch the ball drop.
- New Year's Eve Bash at the Library Sports Pub and Grill (West Bloomfield) - Listen and dance to the live sounds of Music in Motion, and from 5 p.m.-2 a.m., the pub will give you 25 percent off your alcohol tab. No cover charge.
