Are you ready for another busy weekend? Here's a look at what's ahead in Farmington and Farmington Hills over the next few days:
1. The weather
Expect patchy fog this morning to clear out before 10 a.m. The National Weather Service predicts mostly sunny skies and daytime highs in the upper 30s, with lows in the upper 20s under cloudy skies.
2. Sarian Jewelry Gallery grand opening
The Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce will help the owners of Sarian Jewelry Gallery in downtown Farmington celebrate their grand opening today at noon. 3. How to at Home Depot
The staff at Home Depot will lead a free how-to clinic Saturday at 1 p.m. You can learn how to install a bathroom vanity in three easy steps, install a faucet, replace bathroom hardware and light fixtures, and more.
4. The Old Winery Farmers Market
More than 30 vendors will offer Michigan produce and Michigan-made products 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, in the Old Winery/Powerhouse building on Grand River, west of Orchard Lake Rd. in Farmington. 5. Look ahead: Farmington PTA Council meeting
The district-wide organization meets Monday, 7 p.m., at the Ten Mile building in Farmington. The agenda includes District updates, MEAP cut scores, updates on Common Core State Standards and more.
