Our warm-up continues today, with temperatures climbing back into the 60s. The National Weather Service predicts a mostly sunny and breezy day, with winds gusting to 29 miles per hour. The winds die down tonight, as the mercury dips to around 39.
2. Commissioner meets with seniors
Oakland County Commissioner Bill Dwyer (R-14th District) meets with local seniors today at the Costick Center in Farmington Hills. He'll be there at 11:30 a.m. to talk about what's going on in Pontiac and answer questions.
3. Grief Workshop at Faith Covenant
The church's weekly series, “From Grief to New Hope”, with Cathy Clough, Director of New Hope Center for Grief Support, continues at 7 p.m. today. Each session will begin with a talk about one aspect of grief followed by small group participation led by trained facilitators. 4. Look ahead: Farmington Beautification Commission meeting
This city commission meets on Wednesday, 6:30 p.m., at the Farmington Community Library Farmington branch. If you're interested in programs and activities that focus on the community's physical appearance, you're welcome to attend – the meeting is open to the public.
5. Look ahead: Adult Learning Institute
Registration for the Adult Learning Institute (ALI) at Oakland Community College Orchard Ridge Campus opens on Thursday.
