Farmington Community Library hosts a workshop tonight on how to help elderly loved ones deal with depression.
We're inching closer to the end of March with weather that finally feels a little more like Michigan in the spring. And for a change, there's no freeze warning tonight:
1. The weather
Expect the frost to melt off this morning, as the mercury climbs to around 49 today. The National Weather Service predicts a low tonight around 46, with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms before 2 a.m.
2. Sacred Conversations: Caring for God's Good Creation
This series offered by Salem United Church of Christ uses a format that combines dynamic presentations by Rev. Terry Gallagher with small group dialogue. 3. Late Life Depression workshop
Are you concerned that an elderly loved one might suffer from depression? This event offers valuable information about how to spot the signs of depression and how to reach out and help. Presented by the Michigan School of Professional Psychology, tonight's 7 p.m. presentation will be held at the Farmington Community Library Main Library. 4. Look ahead: Children's Sleep Issues
Parents can learn more about children's sleep issues tomorrow during a 7 p.m. presentation at the Farmington Community Library Main Library. 5. Look ahead: Wednesday Night Sessions
