5 Things You Should Know Today - March 26, 2012
Farmington Community Library hosts a workshop tonight on how to help elderly loved ones deal with depression.
We're inching closer to the end of March with weather that finally feels a little more like Michigan in the spring. And for a change, there's no freeze warning tonight:
1. The weather
Expect the frost to melt off this morning, as the mercury climbs to around 49 today. The National Weather Service predicts a low tonight around 46, with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms before 2 a.m.
2. Sacred Conversations: Caring for God's Good Creation
This series offered by Salem United Church of Christ uses a format that combines dynamic presentations by Rev. Terry Gallagher with small group dialogue. A light supper is served at 6 p.m., followed by the presentation. There's no charge, but an RSVP is required; call 248-474-6880 or write to email@example.com.
