Best of Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch: Lunch Spots
We want to know your go-to place for the midday meal.
Today, Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch begins a search for the best businesses in town. Every other week, you'll have a chance to vote for your favorite veterinarian, breakfast spot, nail salon and more.
Today, we're asking about the best place to have lunch.
We've culled the list below from our Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch Places directory. Vote for your favorite lunch spot by 9 a.m. Friday; we'll post a story that day declaring the winner.
(If we missed your favorite place, let us know in the comments.)
A few housekeeping items: This poll is not scientific, so we won't use it as the only way to determine a winner. Patch editor Joni Hubred-Golden will make a determination based on poll results, reviews on Patch Places and comments on this story, so make sure you tell us why you think your choice is best. Is it the sevice? The food? What's your favorite dish or the best deal on the menu?

I vote for La Marsa. My go to lunch is Shish Tawook sandwich with a cup of crushed lentil soup.

Dagwood's Deli! Great sandwiches, soups and salads. If you don't see exactly what you want on the menu they'll make it for you. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

I love El Patio! I have a lot of food allergies, and they're one of the only places I can eat at in the city. And I get large portions - which is rare when I go out to eat.

I wanted to give a shout out to the Tomatoes A Pizza on Halstead, they have a lunch buffet (pizza, salad, breadsticks, soda) which is a wonderful option for lunch. I was impressed by the freshness of the product they had on the buffet line.
Papa Romano's #45

But what about Papa Romano's Pizza at 30002 W 12 Mile Road (248)851-0808.
They were voted 2nd place for best pizza in Farmington Hills "Peoples Choice" not just by Judges, but by the people themselves. I'd go there for lunch anytime. Great combo lunch and dinner specials. So much too choose from. Ain't noth'in easy anymore!! LOL They even have Groupon Specials on Monday & Tuesday.
