Sports forecasters with The Detroit News wonder if this could be the year the Farmington Falcons football team breaks a 10-year drought in Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) playoff action.
The Falcons take on the Oxford Wildcats on home turf at 7 p.m. Friday, coming in to the game undefeated, with wins over Southfield (14-6) and Southfield Lathrup (39-12), plus a non-conference 32-14 win at home against John Glenn.
Also at 7 p.m. Friday, Harrison (2-1) and North Farmington will fight a cross-town battle at Harrison.
