What made you decide to run?
I wanted to push the incumbent on issues related to government accountability, forced union contracting, and public debt. Now I have the opportunity to hammer those issues home.
What issues do you see affecting your district?
I wanted to push the incumbent on issues related to government accountability, forced union contracting, and public debt. Now I have the opportunity to hammer those issues home.
What national issues would you like to influence as a member of U.S. Congress?
I want to make sure that we provide a business environment that is friendly to entrepreneurs and innovators, who can create jobs. I want to tackle our public debt so we can provide a better life to our children and grandchildren. I want to provide additional accountability and transparency in government. I want to repeal ObamaCare. Finally, I want to provide better care for our veterans who have sacrificed so much.
What are your thoughts on your new district lines?
I think that all the people that I have met in the 11th Congressional District are wonderful folks. We have as much talent in this District as any. I wouldn’t trade this District for any in the USA.

do YOU have gov't healthcare through the VA??? ... or maybe public sector healthcare when you were a teacher??? do you have ANY compassion for other people struggling to get by??? What's wrong with EVERYONE having healthcare in this country??? What would you replace the ACA with??? NOTHING??? Leaving 40 million Americans
with NOTHING??? Are going to accept Medicare when you're eligible??? or do you refuse ALL forms of govt healthcare? I could possible understand tea bagger candidates more if they seemed to have an ounce of compassion.

They would rather wage war on poor people than poverty. They're good Christians - just ask them.

When you reach into someones pocket and forcibly give THEIR money to someone else, it is call thievery, not compassion. Compassion is when you get out YOUR own checkbook and pay for someone else's healthcare. Have you done that lately???

R Murphy, just how does the Veterans Administration get funding to provide medical care to veterans? Who paid for the transport, food, and bullets used during both wars listed? And who was asked their permission as to whether money from their pockets could be used to pay for all that, including the wages paid to all involved? In answer to your question, most everyone one has.

I respect Kerry's service to our country, but it is not the only qualification necessary to service in Congress. I want substance beyond the rhetorical answers Kerry gives to virtually every question.
The great thing about politics is the voters will speak today.

Too bad the truth will not get out in time for that lie to be exposed. I know him personally and that is not a position he stands for. Nancy Cassis ran on more lies than on her own platform. It's disgraceful.

Compare the answers to two of the questions posed here: (1)What made you decide to run? (2)What issues do you see affecting your district?
After reading Dr. Taj's thoughtful responses to both, KB's reminds me of the question in that old ad: "Where's the beef?"
