Coyote Sightings in Farmington and Farmington Hills

Patch Facebook readers say they've seen the animals all over town.

Last week, we published several coyote photos taken by Patch reader Ed Flaherty and City of Farmington Hills Parks Supervisor Randy Lovett and asked our Facebook fans whether they had seen coyotes in their neighborhoods.

The map above shows the locations they mentioned. If you've seen a coyote and your neighborhood isn't included, post a comment with the location, and we'll add it to the map.

Below, we've listed some of the big events happening today, as well as events later this week for which you'll need to register or purchase tickets:

Almost right smack in the middle of 10 & 11 Mile roads, and Orchard Lake and Middlebelt Roads.

I've seen a coyote near my house (just n. of Freedom Rd. between Farmington & Drake. I've also seen several foxes, including one walking right down my street. It's a beautiful blessing to see nature so close up.

I saw one this week on Ridgeview Drive and Paisley (N of 10 mile; east of Orchard Lake) walked right out of the woods and down the street.
