Farmington-Based Nonprofit Hosts 'Giving Day', ThanksForGiving Dinner, Holiday Party

S.O.U.L. offers opportunities to give and receive during the holiday season.

 

A Farmington-based nonprofit has announced several events this holiday season that offer opportunities for local residents to give help and get it. 

S.O.U.L. (Source of Universal Love) will host the following:

Soulful Giving Day Nov. 19, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., 23023 Orchard lake Road, Bldg. C, Farmington. Select needed household items, books and clothing for your family, for free. Donations are welcome, but not required. 

ThanksForGiving Dinner Nov. 23, 6 p.m.-8 p.m., at North Congregational Church, 36520 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. This annual, free, traditional Thanksgiving dinner is for individuals and families in need and includes a food distribution. RSVP to 248-987-6551. 

Holiday Party Dec. 22, 2 p.m.-4 p.m., Unity of Farmington Hills, 32500 W. 13 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Children and their families who are in need are welcome to enjoy cocoa and cookies, music, a visit with Santa, treats and photos. RSVP to 248-987-6551 with the number of guests who will be attending. 

S.O.U.L. also offers Christmas dinners and gift wish lists for families in need. Details are on the flyer posted with this article.
