Farmington Hills House Broken Into After 3 Tries
A homeowner on Bycroft tells police costume jewelry is missing after the March 15 incident.
Residents in the 31000 block of Bycroft called Farmington Hills police shortly after 2 p.m. on March 15, to report a daylight break-in.
According to the report, two unsuccessful attempts were made to enter the house through doors that led to a garden shed and a secured Florida room, before access was gained by prying open a kitchen window. The report indicated a sealed birthday card on the kitchen table was ripped open and tossed in the trash and three jewelry boxes were emptied.
Homeowners told police that most of the items taken were costume jewelry, including necklaces and bracelets.
