Two motorists were injured, including one seriously, in this rollover crash on Orchard Lake and Powers roads Sunday, police said.

A West Bloomfield man was seriously injured in a roll-over crash on Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield Sunday morning that also involved a Farmington Hills resident, police said.

Dispatchers received a call about a two-vehicle crash on Orchard Lake near Powers road at 10:39 a.m., West Bloomfield Township Police Lt. Tim Diamond said. Upon arrival, the officers found one car on its roof with the driver trapped inside. The 35-year-old West Bloomfield man was removed by paramedics and transported to Beaumont Hospital for treatment. Further details about his condition were unavailable Monday afternoon, Diamond said.

The 22-year-old Farmington Hills resident driving the other car suffered injuries but refused transport to a local hospital, according to reports.

Diamond said the investigation showed the West Bloomfield man was headed north on Orchard Lake and turned left in front of the other car, which was headed south. The West Bloomfield man was cited for failing to yield, Diamond added.

Sorry to hear about this bad accident and the injuryed man. But I am not surprised at the accidents that happen. Just today I saw several cars go through red lights. Also a few cutting another car off because they want to get a head and speeding. You reall have be alert and watch out for these road hogs.
