Farmington Hills Police Find Body in Nine Mile-Halsted Area
Multiple news outlets report that police are on the scene behind homes on Clear Lake Drive.

For the second time in about two months, Farmington Hills Police are on the scene of a body found on the city's west side.
According to mulitple news outlets, a woman's body was found at around 8 a.m. in a pond behind Clear Lake Drive, which is near Nine Mile and Halsted Roads. Police aren't releasing any additional details, WDIV-TV reports.
In December 2012, the body of 38-year-old Howell resident Patrick Keough, who had been missing for nearly six months, was found in a heavily wooded area near 13 Mile and Halsted Roads.

Dead bodies are starting to pop up in Farmington Hills. Good thing we have a fine Detective Division to investigate and hopefully close these cases to satisfaction. Perhaps our area is conducive to disposing of such bodies due to the natural environment of ponds and heavily wooded areas. I don't think all such deaths occurred within our city limits, however. Homicide matters often result from the moving of dead bodies away from the crime scene. Time will tell.
