Farmington Hills Promises Largest-Ever Campfire at Marshmallow Fly and Fry Aug. 21

The event in Heritage Park features 1,000+ marshmallows dropped from a fire department ladder truck.

See the City of Farmington Hills' largest-ever campfire at the annual Marshmallow Fly and Fry from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Heritage Park

The city's Department of Special Services, the Fire Department, and Busch’s Fresh Food Market offer families the opportunity to cook hot dogs and s’mores over the campfire, then watch over 1,000 marshmallows fall from the sky. The splash pad will be open, kids can play on a bouncer, do crafts, check out fire trucks, and more.

The event is free to attend; hot dogs, s’mores, and drinks will be available for a nominal fee. After dinner, kids will retrieve marshmallows dropped from the Fire Department ladder truck, then exchange them for goodies.
