Xemplar Club members distributed more than $20,000 to 21 organizations last year.

At noon today, the Xemplar Club will make 42 local non-profit and school organizations very happy.

The club will hand out checks totalling $22,000 during its third annual "Donation Day", at John Cowley & Sons in downtown Farmington. This year, the group will support double the number it did last year and bring the club's three-year total to more than $65,000. We'll publish coverage of the event this afternoon.

In the meantime, browse through the list of today's events, along with a list of events for which you need to register or buy tickets if you want to attend them later in the week:

The Farmington/Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families greatly appreciate the support from the Xemplar Club. The donation to the Back Pack Program will go directly to feeding families in our community. Great event with a great impact on our community!
