Harrison Hawks Destroy North Farmington Raiders

The Hawks took a decisive 56-6 win at home over North Farmington in the cross-town rivalry game.

Rival teams from two Farmington Hills high schools met on the Harrison High football field Friday night. Harrison's Hawks trounced North Farmington High School's Raiders by a score of 56-6.

The Hawks took an early lead, as Lorenzo Collins (#20) scored the first touchdown of the game. The Hawks completed a two-point conversion, taking the lead 8-0. With 3:37 left in the first quarter, the Hawks failed to complete a field goal attempt.

North's Raiders responded with their only touchdown of the game, on a long run by #4, Chauncey Bridges. The Raiders' attempt at a two-point conversion was not successful, making the score at the end of the first quarter a close 8-6.

The remainder of the game was essentially a blow-out, with the Hawks dominating the Raiders on nearly every play. At half-time, the Hawks led by a score of 29-6. The second half continued the rout, ending in a final score of 56-6.

Homer, the headline was a reflection of the score. Sometimes, things seem appropriate when you're working on them late at night, and they look a little different in the light of day. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. We'll be more sensitive in the future.

It's football let the boys enjoy the game. No offense but the Hawks play teams that always lose their composure with personal fouls and no calls being in their favor just about every game. No excuses for any cheap shots if there were any but I didn't notice. Not much competition this game. Go Hawks and keep the momentum going next Game.
