Help Schools, Athletic Programs with Fundraisers
There are plenty of ways to support Farmington schools this month.
Every school has a group raising funds for charity, school needs or other reasons. Here's a list of ways you can help students meet their goals:
Uncle Andy's will donate 20 percent of sales to Harrison High's baseball program Wednesday, Feb. 16. Mention Harrison baseball when you order Uncle Andy's pick up or delivery, at the store on Orchard Lake just north or Shiawassee, or call 248-471-6666.
Visit Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant, 37651 Six Mile Rd. in Livonia (Haggerty is the cross street) on Wednesday, Feb. 16 any time during the day or evening, and Hillside will receive 20% of all purchases including dine-in and take-out.
North Farmington Orchestras Silent Auction Concert
North Farmington High orchestras will perform a free concert at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17. A silent auction during the event will raise funds for the program. Only cash and checks will be accepted.
North Farmington Basketball
Support the North Farmington High boys basketball team at the Library Pub, 6363 Haggerty Rd, West Bloomfield, on Feb. 23, 2011, 4 p.m. to closing. Mention NFHS Basketball and Library Pub will donate 10% of your bill to the basketball program.
Tuesday, March 1 is Warner Upper Elementary's fundraiser event at the Champps Americana restaurant at Orchard Lake Road and 14 Mile Road in West Bloomfield. Present a Warner fundraiser flier or mention Warner PTA’s fundraiser when dining in the restaurant or ordering carry-out, and 15 percent of the sale will be donated back to the school.
