New Owners Revive Chulbu'ul Mexican Restaurant

After the Farmington eatery mysteriously closed shortly after opening, it has now been re-opened.

Chulbu'ul Mexican restaurant is getting a second chance in Farmington.

According to an article in the Observer & Eccentric, the eatery has been purchased by new owners, who have re-opened with a new menu.

Originally, Chulbu'ul opened in December on Grand River Avenue to much local excitement.

"Glad to have a Mexican Restaurant in town. Can't wait to try it!" reader Therese Norris commented on Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch.

The original owners closed the eatery shortly after opening due to illness, according to the Observer & Eccentric.

The new menu still carries Mexican dishes, but has a few different items.
