Prentice Brings Morels Back to Life in Farmington Hills
The restaurant will open in March on Northwestern Highway south of 14 Mile Rd.
Originally opened in Bingham Farms in 1990, the Michigan-themed restaurant closed in 2006. Prentice told the Free Press he expects to hire 100 employees for the location.
Prentice operates eight restaurants in metro Detroit. In addition to Morels, he plans to open Gastronomy in Southfield with a menu that focuses on everything American, and another kosher restaurant in Huntington Woods, Berkley or Royal Oak. Matt Prentice Group also operates a kosher catering business out of Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills.
