Presidents Day: What's Open, What's Closed
Trash and recycling pickup are unaffected by the Feb. 20 federal holiday.

City offices in Farmington Hills will close Monday, Feb. 20, for the federal Presidents Day holiday, but Farmington City Hall will be open.
Garbage and recycling pickup in both cities will take place on regularly scheduled pickup days throughout the week.
Both the Main Library and the Farmington branch of the Farmington Community Library will be open Monday. The 47th District Court will be closed, as will some banks.
Branches of the U.S. Post Office in Farmington and Farmington Hills will be closed for the holiday. Both have Automated Postal Centers, which allow customers to weigh and purchase postage for letters and packages by using a credit or debit card.
Farmington Public Schools will be closed next week for winter break.
