Register by Monday to Vote in August Partisan Primary
You must be registered to cast a ballot in federal, state and county primaries, as well as DIA and SMART millage issues.
Citizens in Farmington and Farmington Hills must be registered by 4:30 p.m. Monday in order to vote in the Aug. 9 partisan primary.
Republicans and Democrats running for federal, state and county seats will be on separate ballots, along with local precinct delegates and candidates for judicial posts.
Voters also face two millage issues, a new .2 mill levy to fund the Detroit Institute of Arts and renewal of .59 mills to fund SMART (Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation) bus service in Farmington and Farmington Hills.
To register, visit the city clerk offices at Farmington and Farmington Hills city halls, the Oakland County clerk's office in Pontiac or any Secretary of State office.
