Remember last summer's "Life Remodeled" home build in the Olde Towne neighborhood of Farmington Hills?

Over the past week, organizers posted a video on the YouTube.com social media website that includes a look at the complete project, from the repairs and clean-up done on homes throughout the neighborhood, to time-lapse video of the build and comments from the new homeowners. Take four minutes to view the inspiring video posted above.

To see what's happening in Farmington and Farmington Hills today, check the list of events posted on our calendar. We've also included events later in the week for which you'll have to RSVP or buy tickets.

Joni,

Thanks for 'reminding' everyone of what we have done in the past. The families and neighborhoods have been, and are continuing to be 'transformed'.

FYI: We are going to build a new home and 'beautify' the surrounding neighborhood in the "New Center" area of Detroit (Woodward and Grand Blvd.) this summer (July 29-Aug 4). There are many different jobs for all experience 'levels' (ANYONE can volunteer). So, visit our web site for more details: http://liferemodeled.com

I live near the "life-remodeled" build. It was amazing to see all the workers constantly working. They didn't seem to rest. It was go - go - go. They were like busy bees building a hive. So many volunteers. Many kudo's go out to all of them. A job well done!!
