See Where Farmington Hills Residents Reported Thefts from Vehicles
More than a dozen residents report their vehicles were entered over the past week.
Farmington Hills Police responded to more than a dozen theft from vehicle calls over the past week, in neighborhoods south of 10 Mile Road.
According to reports, residents in the 37000 block of Dungarran Court, the 37000 block of Aspen Drive and the 23000 block of Haggerty all contacted police on Monday to report items had been taken from their vehicles.
On Dungarran Court, headphones, a pair of sunglasses and a phone charger were taken from a truck parked near the home sometime between Sunday at 10 p.m. and Monday at 6 p.m.
An iPod Touch was taken from the vehicle parked on Aspen Drive, some time between Friday at 10 p.m. and Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The vehicle's owner told police she may have left it unlocked. The report indicated she also told police that a neighbor mentioned experiencing a vehicle break-in as well.
In the Haggerty Road incident, a woman parked her vehicle in a business parking lot on Friday at 5 p.m. and returned on Monday morning to find the wheels had been stolen.
Thefts from vehicles were also reported in the following areas:
- 21000 block of Manchester Court
- 37000 block of Aspen Drive
- 36000 block of Aspen Drive
- 22000 block of Atlantic Pointe
- 36000 block of Aldgate
- 37000 block of Emerald Forest Drive
- 22000 block of Ontaga
