Works by local artists will be up for bids during a Saturday fundraiser hosted by kickstART farmington, a local non-profit organization.

The Art Exhibit & Silent Auction, open from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Ginger’s Café, 32905 Grand River in Farmington, features works in various media offered for sale through a silent auction. The event is free and open to the public; wine and treats will be served. 

Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the artists and kickstART farmington, which aims to strengthen the community through the arts. The organization has hosted a Super 8 Movie Festival, a "Poetry Bomb" and Free Art Friday, which placed works donated by local artists into the hands of community residents, free of charge.
