Five unforgettable women are on a mission to prove that friendships last forever in The Dixie Swim Club at the Farmington Players Barn in Farmington Hills. Tickets are $16, $2 discount for students. Visit farmingtonplayers.org.
Bring winter clothing to the store that will be donated to the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries and the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), for distribution to people in need of a little warmth this winter.
Clear out your closet of gently worn or never worn shoes to help Backdoor Friends help cats like this one find a home. The shoes go to people who need them, and the Cat Rescue gets paid for every pound. Drop off during store hours: Monday - Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Shop for toys, tools, furniture and clothes at this sale. It will be held only on Saturday.
