This Michigan-based band performs a blend of ska-funk-jazz mixed with high energy and a unique blend of horns that will have you dancing in your seat. If the weather takes a turn, the concert will be held at First United Methodist Church, which is just across Grand River.
Clear out your closet of gently worn or never worn shoes to help Backdoor Friends help cats like this one find a home. The shoes go to people who need them, and the Cat Rescue gets paid for every pound. Drop off during store hours: Monday - Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., through Aug. 1.
