On or about Novemer 11, 2012 (Veterans Day) while honoring those that gave some and those that gave all, I asked for World Peace.  Fat chance of that happening.

The 2003 Invasion of Iraq (19 March – 1 May 2003), was the start of the conflict known as the Iraq War.

The War in Afghanistan began on October 7, 2001 and continues as I write this blog.

Iran is trying and will probably succeed in building a Nuclear Bomb (everybody's favorite weapon of mass destruction).

Israeli   planes, tanks and gunboats are pounding suspected militant positions as I write this blog.

Violence never just impacts the soldiers firing the guns—the collateral damage extends far beyond innocents shot in the crossfire.

Operation Pillar of Cloud is an Israel Defense Forces operation in the Gaza Strip, officially launched on 14 November 2012 with the killing of Ahmed Jabari, chief of the Gaza military wing of Hamas.

Maybe the Mayans had it correct:  December 21, 2012 the World will End.

Perhaps we should assist Iran in building a Nuclear Bomb to ensure the end of the World. Turn the planet into a parking lot and then and only then we stop piling bodies up like cord wood.
