Experience the magic of the autumn season at the Nature Center in Heritage Park. Take a naturalist-led hike under a canopy of color, discover how and why leaves change color in the fall, and search for animals preparing for winter.

The cost is $3 per person. All ages are welcome. Pre-register at the Costick Center or online at http://recreg.fhgov.com or pay at the door on the day of the program. Space is limited. Please dress for the weather and exploring the outdoors.

Heritage Park is located at 24915 Farmington Road, between 10 and 11 Mile Roads.

With its rolling hills, winding nature trails, amphitheater, splash pad, playground and picnic facilities, Heritage Park offers activities for every season. This 211-acre park is home to the Vagnozzi Visitors Center in the historic Spicer House, Nature Center Day Camp, the Heritage & History Center in Farmington Hills and the Longacre House, a community center. The large picnic shelter is open on a first-come, first-served basis, but it may be reserved for a small fee. Call for information.
