Farmington Hills, MI -- The Farmington Community Chorus (FCC) will hold open auditions for new members on three consecutive Tuesday evenings, January 8, 15,  and 22, 2013.  Auditions will be held at the Costick Center, 28600 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (just east of Middlebelt Road) in Farmington Hills, beginning at 7:30 pm.  All voice parts, ages 18+ are welcome.  The Chorus also offers an accredited session for Oakland Community College students in partnership with OCC’s Music Department.

The Farmington Community Chorus, directed by Steve SeGraves and accompanied by assistant director Susan Garr, is celebrating its 33rd  year of making beautiful music. The 70 + mixed-voice chorus is composed of singers from throughout the metro Detroit area.  The group rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30 pm at the Costick Center in Farmington Hills.  Beginning in January, the Chorus will rehearse a repertoire of popular music for our spring concert, with performances to be held in May 10 and 11, 2013, at Mercy High School.
