The Farmington Elks #1986 competition for the 41st Annual Elks Nation Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest, sponsored by the Elks National Foundation, will be held at East Middle School on December 1, 2012 at 9:00AM. Contest winners will go on to compete in the District competition on January 5, 2013 in Royal Oak.
An estimated 2.5 million youth from across the country, ages 8 to 13 will compete for a chance to qualify for the National Finals in Springfield, Mass. on April 20, 2013. National Champions will have their names permanently inscribed in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
