Enjoy an autumn family-fun tradition at Heritage Park! Experience the trails on a hay wagon, roast marshmallows at a campfire, and enjoy some apple cider as part of the hayride package. Hayrides are held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Friday night from September 14 through November 2 and on Saturday, October 20 and Saturday, October 27.

Hayrides last approximately 30 minutes, with the last ride leaving at 7 p.m. The fee is $5 per person and pre-registration is highly recommended. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door. All ages are welcome.

Register in advance for the hayrides at https://recreg.fhgov.com or in person at the Costick Center. A private ride can also be reserved for a large group or organization by calling 248-477-1135.

Heritage Park is located at 24915 Farmington Road, between 10 and 11 Mile Roads. Call the Nature Center at 248-477-1135 or email asimons@fhgov.com for more information about Hayride Central or upcoming Nature Center programs.

With its rolling hills, winding nature trails, amphitheater, splash pad, playground and picnic facilities, Heritage Park offers activities for every season. This 211-acre park is home to the Vagnozzi Visitors Center in the historic Spicer House, Nature Center Day Camp, the Heritage & History Center in Farmington Hills and the Longacre House, a community center. The large picnic shelter is open on a first-come, first-served basis, but it may be reserved for a small fee. Call for information.
