The League of Women Voters Oakland Area (LWVOA) is hosting their annual Fall Luncheon, Monday, October 22nd at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church of Birmingham, 300 Willits, Birmingham, MI 48009. 

This year’s guest speaker is Gilda Z. Jacobs, Director, Michigan League for Public Policy (formerly: Michigan League for Human Services).   Ms. Jacobs will be presenting information on Prosperity and Public Policy

Ms. Jacobs formerly served as State Senator for 14th District, State Representative and served as an Oakland County Commissioner from 1995 to 1998.  She also is distinguished as the first woman elected to the Huntington Woods City Commission, serving from 1981 to 1994.

The lunch and speaker will cost $25.  The cost for the speaker only is $7.  Lunch will start at 12 noon and will be provided by Panera Bread.  The speaker will start at 1pm.  Please go to www.LWVOA.org website, event calendar, and click on reservation form.  Fill out the form, your check and send to the League of Women Voters Oakland Area, 725 S. Adams Road, Suite 292, Birmingham, MI 48009.
