The 5th annual National Day of Prayer celebration will be held today.
Farmington area churches organizing the event include The Crossing, Wellspring, First Church of the Nazarene, Faith Bible, Faith Covenant, Woodside, Harvest Ministries and Metro Detroit Christian.
The program will consist of seven prayer targets; National, State, City, Security, Business/Economic, Public Education, and Family Concerns. Each one will be presented by recognized community leaders, followed in prayer by the audience and the pastors representing the local supporting churches.

More About William M. Costick Activities Center
The Costick Activities Center provides a home for the City of Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division, Recreation Division, Senior Adults Division and Youth & Family Services Program offices, as well as activities hosted by all those programs. The Center hums with activity daily, from swimming lessons in the pool and after-school programs, to activities for senior adults and meetings or events held in comfortable, well-appointed rental rooms. The City Gallery, in the Costick Center lobby, features artworks by local residents.
