Enjoy a nature hike, story, and a craft with your child at the Nature Center on every scheduled half day of school for the Farmington Public School District.

No pre-registration is required. The fee is $3 per child at the door. Classes are designed for all ages; adults must stay with their child. Please dress for the weather and exploring the outdoors.

City of Farmington Hills Nature Discovery Center
The 2,323-square-foot Nature Discovery Center houses a variety of exhibits showcasing the flora and fauna common to Heritage Park and the Farmington Hills area. A large diorama provides an up-close look at local trees, plants and wildlife. Educational aspects of the center include hands-on displays, an interactive weather station, computer microscope and a nature library.
