Botsford Hospital’s next Walk with a Doc, a free wellness event, will feature a Botsford oncologist speaking about the prevention and treatment of skin cancer.
Guest speaker Savitha Balaraman, MD, will lead the discussion. Learn about various skin cancers: sign and symptoms, risk factors, prevention and the newest treatments.

City of Farmington Hills Nature Discovery Center
The 2,323-square-foot Nature Discovery Center houses a variety of exhibits showcasing the flora and fauna common to Heritage Park and the Farmington Hills area. A large diorama provides an up-close look at local trees, plants and wildlife. Educational aspects of the center include hands-on displays, an interactive weather station, computer microscope and a nature library.
