YMCA: Be Part of the Hoopla
YMCA, 28100 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills, MI | Get Directions »
$105.00
"Hula hooping" is back! The fitness world has a new workout and it's called hoopdance, or cardio hooping. No dance or hooping experience necessary! The weight and size of these hoops help beginners keep their momentum going, making it easier to learn. Join trainer Jan Henry for a Small Group covering the basics of hooping -- waist, walking, overhead hooping etc. Progress at your own pace and burn while you learn!
All major muscles are used, including core muscles. Small Group training is a great value at $105 for 7 weeks, while benefitting from the close attention of a personal trainer.
Two times are available: Mondays at 9am beginning May 16, and Wednesdays at 7pm beginning May 18. Register at the front desk for one or both. Hoops will be provided, though options for getting one of your own (to practice!) will be discussed. The hoop group meets in the multi-purpose room.
