2 Ways to Help Seniors in Farmington and Farmington Hills

Volunteer for the Commission on Aging or to deliver meals to homebound seniors.

The cities of Farmington and Farmington Hills have both put out a call for volunteers to help with senior-related programs: 

Farmington Area Commission on Aging 
The City of Farmington is seeking volunteers to serve on the commission, which was formed in 1977 to support the betterment of daily living for older adults in Farmington and Farmington Hills. For more information, call Cheryl Poole, 248-474-5500 ext. 2221 or write to cpoole@ci.farmington.mi.us.

Deliver Meals to Homebound Seniors
Volunteers deliver meals between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., choosing one day per week, Monday through Friday. The routes are all within the Farmington/Farmington Hills area. Substitutes are also welcome for those who cannot commit to one day a week. Call Cathy 
Yourchock, Nutrition Services Coordinator, at 248-473-1825.
